PROJECTS IN EDUCATION

BE A SPONSOR TO A CHILD

Education creates opportunities.

Children who attend school have better prospects of finding a job and can make wise decisions concerning their lives. But many people in the Philippines live in extreme poverty, forcing children to earn money to help support their families.

Support a child in their education and provide a school year, including books and school uniform. One child can be supported by different sponsors. Thus, you can offer several children a future of hope.

2020-2021 we support children from Condordia Children’s Services Inc. who grow up without family. In the orphanage in Manila they receive daily meals, basic medical care, supervision & can attend schools. This institution with its volunteer caregivers receives no government support and live solely on donations.

COOPERATION WITH SOCIAL INSTITUTIONS AND LOCAL CHURCHES

Trained social worker take the responsibility for the control and execution of the projects in the interest of the association of “Rice & Books.org”.

They work with social institutions, churches or distribute food and clothing to people who need help.

During Czarina’s study she spend 1,5 years in the Philippines. In addition to her thesis, which she wrote on the weekends, she worked during the week for the two NGOs:

The People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) is a professional, non-stock, not-for-profit organization of over 1,800 member companies and individual management executives engaged or interested in Human Resource Management (HRM) and Industrial Relations (IR) work. PMAP also helps its members become more effective on the job by teaching the human aspect of management via numerous career development forums and training programs.

The Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP) is the umbrella organization and single voice for the entire business community on important national issues related to employment, industrial relations, labor issues and related social policies.

At both organizations, Czarina had been able to gain very good insights into these institutions. And she has still good connections with the employees.
